Ashanti is a female that wolf that stands at about six foot and three inches and weighing two hundred and fifty-five pounds. For a tundra wolf whose fur is supposed to match the snowy climate, she has thick soft coal-black fur which is fused with maroon and grey parts. All four of her legs and a bit of her tail are a darker grey that that of which surrounds her bright intensive yellow eyes. The maroon coloring is throughout the upper part of her face and neck and starts at an angle at her forehead before going straight back and stopping just at her shoulders. Her body is actually pretty lengthy despite her tall height and long legs. She also supports a broad head with a rather narrow muzzle. The bottom of her paws is rough and black. If it is not her coat color that makes her stand out against the snow it's more so her black and maroon tipped feathery wings. They are about twice the length of her and are able to support her weight easily while in the air. Along her back, starting at her shoulder are maroon spikes that get smaller in size as you proceed dow towards her tail.

Even at a young age, it was clear that Ashanti was built for bigger things. If she had been a Halflings like her mother and sister she could have probably lived as a slave or a maid. But being that she turned out to be a pure wolf and very few that were even caught to be sold on the Black Market. She had a good price on her. Due to the slight aggressiveness she naturally held towards others she was easily sought after by an older human male smuggler. He thought to make her an excellent "guard dog" It took months for Ashanti to understand what he wanted from her. In the end, she became aggressive towards those who tried to go after her master. Most people in the underground were cautious of her as she grew bigger. If it wasn't for Tobias showing her some kindness she would've possibly lashed out at anybody that came near her master. Friend or foe. She is stubborn and loves a good fight. She prefers to look more after her own kind than halflings and humans or any other creature. Though she looks pretty intimidating she's somewhat of a compassion wolf. She has great pride in her pack and wishes for it to thrive. To those who know nothing of her she can come off as the strong, silent, mysterious type.

Ashanti was born alongside a sister named Astral to a Halflings mother and Wolf father. The girl's mother, Athalia originally wasn't from the Black Market. She lived free like their father, Axel though he was the alpha of the Reich pack. Athalia fell for him and when she found out that she was to have children she had set out to find him but ended up getting captured and taken to the Black Market. From there Athalia was a slave till she bore two girls. Ashanti and Astral. Astral easily took after her mother but Ashanti, she took after her father as a pure wolf. At only a year old Ashanti was taken away from her mother and sister and spent the next year in a half being a smuggler's "guard dog" The smuggler had even gone into lengths as to give her spikes, enhanced speed, controlling fire and wings to make her more intimidating. There was a time she had seen her mother but she hadn't even recognized her due to having to forget about her so quickly. Athalia had tried to talk some sense into Ashanti and out of annoyance and the fear of her master threatening to kill her if she disobeyed again, Shanti lashed out at her mother.

The fight didn't last long and even though Shanti was only following her human master's orders she still was punished. It was in her cage that she thought to escape her master. Her first few attempts had been failures and landed her many punishments. At two years old she was following behind her master obediently when she ran into a halflings male, Tobias. She had ignored him completely and walked away as he ranted about dropping the goods his master had told him to get. The next time he had tried to talk to her she still ignored him after giving him her name and saying she was trying to get above ground. She was far too busy trying to think of a way of getting above ground like she had heard others talking about. While her master talked with a local smuggler, Tobias came by her home again and said he knew how to get her above ground. At first she didn't believe him but when he explained she became more intrigued. The next couple months she decided to let him help and the two devised a plan to escape.

When the time came somehow things backfired. Tobias ended up getting caught and killed trying to protect Ashanti while they were above ground. Ashanti barely escaped with her life out the city and spent her time trying to get as far away from humans as she possibly could. She was about three years old when she met him. Her father. Somehow she had managed to make her way into Reich territory. At first his wolves had thought her to be a member of Vicertera but after closer inspection Axel was relieved that he had a daughter. He welcomed her in despite what some of his members said about her being a human's guard dog. Then it wasn't long after that her father became sick and passed away. Leaving Ashanti in charge of the Reich Pack.
